Dementia Unit
 The
Alzheimer's and Dementia Special Care Unit at Parsons Hill Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center meets the unique and varied needs of
people with memory loss. Our secure, homelike environment offers
residents safety and families peace of mind. This comprehensive
program helps
to create a community in which residents celebrate each day and
enjoy life to the fullest.

Partners:
Residents, families and
friends are a part of our Special Care Unit. All are welcome
to visit at any time and are encouraged to participate in all
events. Our families are looked upon as a vital link between
the past and the present-a link that is necessary in order for
us to give our residents quality of life and cherished moments.

- Creative programming to treat
behavioral symptoms such as wandering, sundowning, resisting
help, communication difficulties, etc.
- Dementia-Specific therapeutic
recreation programs 7 days a week.
